Separation || Sarahtage

A photograph is more than a picture on a piece of paper. It is a memory, a story, a deception. Many of my memories are filled with instances where people have thought my sister and I were twins, even though we are six years apart in age. In this series I will photograph myself and my sister for 84 days; each day that I take a photograph I will step another foot away from my sister, my shared identity. Through these 84 photographs I will attempt to create my own identity, separating myself from my sister. These photographs are my story, my memory, and my deception.
